Updated analysis of near-threshold heavy quarkonium production for probe of proton’s gluonic gravitational form factors

There has been growing interest in the near-threshold production of heavy quarkonium which can access gluonic structure nucleon. Previously we studied this process with quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and showed that it be factorized gluon generalized parton distributions (GPDs) quark limit. We further argued hadronic matrix element is dominated by its leading moments corresponding to gravitational form factors (GFFs) Since then, there have many new developments on subject. More experimental measurements made published, lattice simulation GFFs improved as well. In work, make an important revision a previous result perform updated analysis inputs. also study importance large momentum transfer extract these structures reliably framework.
